As the finale designer of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week beginning on March 18,Valaya’s line is mushily titled “Kingdom of Love”. His signature tailored jackets,sensuous jodhpurs and crisp tops paired with detailed skirts — all pegged for “the nomadic rockstar royal” — are a severe contradiction to the prevailing mood,on and off the ramp. “The collection puts across the sentiment that I believe in,that life is all about positivity and progression,” says Valaya. All that he promises is that the collection wouldn’t be heavy on embroidery. Some relief in troubled times.
