The Delhi Police said on Monday they are probing the alleged involvement of pro-Khalistan groups in the bomb blast outside the CRPF School in Rohini on Sunday after they found that one such channel on Telegram shared CCTV footage of the incident.

According to sources, all claims are being looked into. Sources added the police had written to Telegram, seeking information about the group on which the footage along with a message ‘warning’ India was posted.

“It’s difficult to say anything at this stage… investigation is underway,” said Amit Goel, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Rohini.

On Sunday morning, a loud explosion was heard near the CRPF School in Rohini’s Sector 14, prompting the police and a bomb squad to rush to the spot, along with the fire brigade. The explosive is believed to be a crude bomb and traces of potassium chlorate, hydrogen peroxide and some electrical wires were found at the site.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is likely to take over the Rohini blast case from the Delhi Police for further investigation.
