Loud blast near CRPF school in Delhi’s Rohini
The police reached the spot and found that the school’s wall was damaged and there was a foul smell in the area.
Police personnel keep vigil after a blast was reported at Prashant Vihar, near CRPF school in New Delhi, Sunday. (PTI) A loud explosion was heard near the CRPF School in Rohini’s Sector 14 early on Sunday, causing the police and a bomb squad rush to the location.
“Today, at around 7:47 am, the police received a PCR call that a blast with a loud noise took place near the CRPF school in Rohini’s Sector 14,” the police said.

The police reached the spot and found that the school’s wall was damaged and there was a foul smell in the area. “The glasses of the nearby shop and a car parked near the shop were damaged. However, no one was injured,” an officer informed.
The police added that a team from the Crime Branch, Forensic Science Laboratory and the bomb squad were inspecting the area to ascertain the reason of the blast. A team from the fire brigade, too, was at the spot.
