Partial response in Gurgaon

The response to the nation-wide strike was not very big in Gurgaon,with autos and other transportation plying on a normal basis. The inter-city bus services were partially affected.

But trade union officials maintained that the strike in Gurgaon was a complete success. CITU state president Satbir Singh said that around four dozen industries in areas like IMT Manesar,Hero Honda chowk and Udyog Vihar joined the strike. Officials and members of various trade unions brought out a mass rally from Kamla Nehru park.
