She opened the WIFW Spring-Summer 2014 with an applause-worthy collection. She launched a Tata Nano at the venue. And on the final day,she also played a smouldering hot model for Wendell Rodricks. If there is one young designer to watch out for this season,it’s definitely Masaba Gupta. On Saturday night,as Rodricks presented his Africa-inspired collection,his spunky 24-year-old protege was the showstopper. She scorched the runway in a black ensemble with a thigh-high slit on one side. With confidence on her side,Gupta’s entry was greeted by hoots and a thundering applause,even as her actor mother Neena Gupta beamed with delight from the front row.
