Metro services disrupted

Trains on the Delhi Metro’s Vaishali corridor was delayed for several hours on Friday afternoon as maintenance work was carried out on the line. Trains were run on a single line from 11am to 3 pm between Anand Vihar and Vaishali stations.

With trains running at a lower frequency,there was major congestion at stations. Officials said trains in the rest of the sections ran as per schedule.
