Star DJ Edward Maya promises to rev up your nightlife. “In my concert, you can hear songs from my new album,The Stereo Love Show. Until the album releases, you can hear me sing the new songs only on stage.” The

Romanian DJ,a master of trippy, psychedelic, electronic sounds,is getting ready for his second date with Delhi on Saturday as part of Formula One after-party at LAP lounge in Greater Noida. “I love cars and speed and all the racers are my favourite,” he adds.

Maya rose to fame as a 23-year-old,when he launched his first single,Stereo Love,in 2009. It instantly became the anthem at parties across the world. From Romania,Stereo Love travelled to India, and every club in the metros became obsessed with the track.

Now,two years later, the modern-day love ballad that Maya created in collaboration with another Romanian DJ,Vika Jigulina,is still playing at full blast. It featured in Maya’s party in Delhi last year and,we bet,it’ll be on the list on Saturday, too.

Maya has fond memories of last year’s show. “I love the public from India, they really know how to party. The public here is with you till the last minute of the show — singing and dancing,” he says. The DJ,whose other popular tracks include Desert rain and This is my life, adds that there’s a surprise in store for his Indian fans — he has collaborated with an Indian artiste, whose name he wants to keep a secret for now,for The Stereo Love Show. “The next single and my first album will be full of surprises,” he adds.
