She recently grabbed headlines when she got engaged to her boyfriend DJ Adrian Fillary last month. Since then,Mick Jagger’s jewellery designer daughter,Jade Jagger (in the picture),has been in the news mainly for her wedding plans. In fact, her big,fat nuptial in Goa — though the date is not yet known — is even rumoured to have the likes of design whiz Calvin Klein and supermodel Kate Moss in attendance.

But on Friday afternoon, wedding talk was put on the backburner,as she evaded all questions regarding her marriage. It was all about baubles for Jade,as she launched her latest jewellery line at Mumbai’s fashion and home concept store Le Mill. The store’s co-founder Cecilia Morelli-Parikh hosted a lunch to mark the occasion and not surprisingly,a select crowd turned up to congratulate the international jewellery designer. Among those who were seen appreciating Jade ’s work were model and actor Lisa Haydon, socialite Natasha Poonawalla and Laila Lamba, designer Haseena Jethmalani and food critic Rashmi Uday Singh.

Particularly interesting was her range that used the rudraksha beads in liberal quantities. It showed Jade’s love for India. “I have been working in India for many years. I started out with my beaded accessories in Delhi. Now,I also buy my gems from Jaipur. Moreover,I am really lucky to have the most beautiful studio in the world (in Goa),where I can create my designs with an incredible view of the ocean,” she enthused. The

latest collection is a mix of her precious jewellery range called the ‘Disco Diamonds’ line and the ‘Skull Duggery’ collection, that she is most

famous for.
