At Stephens,many students seemed well-versed with the new DU admissions process. A number of them said they had spoken to faculty members and felt the new system was more student-friendly. We can simply walk into any college whose cut-off criteria we meet, said Heena from Kolachi Hanraj School.

Similar views were voiced by Kanika Saxena,a specially abled child from Apeejay School,Pitampura. Wheeling into the St Stephens campus,Saxena said: The university has made life easier for us. I scored 87.2 per cent and am applying for Economics (Honours),English (Honours) and Psychology (Honours). My dream college is SRCC, she said.
