Ghaziabad: The Delhi Public School (DPS) here was evacuated on Thursday after an anonymous caller claimed that a bomb had been planted on the campus,the police said. The call was received at the Police Control Room around 7 am,following which they rushed to the school. Bomb disposal teams and dog squads conducted thorough searches on the school premises and after two hours police declared the call a hoax.

7-yr term for spying
A Delhi court sentenced a septuagenarian to seven years prison term on Thursday for spying for Pakistan three years ago. “All facts show the accused had some connection with Pakistan officials posted at the Pakistan High Commission and on the date,he was going there to communicate the documents seized from him,” the court said.
