Hoax caller held

The Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested a 26-year-old man for allegedly making several hoax bomb calls on October 2.

The accused,Ravinder Kumar Tiwari,was arrested from Wazirabad area on Wednesday.

Tiwari allegedly made calls saying bombs have been planted in different locations in the Capital. The calls created a panic situation and wasted precious time of the police force, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Alok Kumar said.

Kumar said the police traced the mobile phone used to make the calls and then zeroed in on him.
