Hindu debates semester system

With an aim to discuss the pros and cons of the semester system for undergraduate courses in Delhi University,the English Society of Hindu College organised a panel discussion on Thursday. The seminar was attended by five speakers from various colleges.

Naveen Gaur,a physics teacher in Dyal Singh College said the present system should be improved.

“Science students are under pressure. The semester system will worsen it. The government says it has been increasing funding for science students,but there is no infrastructural betterment,” he said.

The students also opposed the semester system.
