Fire broke out in Shastri Bhavan in New Delhi

A fire broke out at the sixth floor of Shastri Bhavan in New Delhi which houses several central government ministries and other offices, police and fire officials said.

According to Delhi Fire Service, they received a call about the blaze around 6:40 pm following which seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained although no one was injured in the incident, said a fire official.
