After a lot of will they,won’t they,Zara,the hugely popular Spanish fashion brand focused on the latest styles at high-street prices,is all set to open its first store in India,at Delhi’s Select Citywalk. (It has replaced the Arcelia store on the ground floor.) Its 15,000 sq ft space could dramatically alter the fashion landscape in India,as Indian designers selling ready-to-wear will have to now rework their price points,and other brands like Mango and Promod finally have competition. The second Zara outlet will open at Mumbai’s Palladium Mall mid-year.)
