EVMs sealed,voting delayed

Technical problems related to electronic voting machines (EVMs) led to voters waiting for half-an-hour at some booths in Gokulpur,Sarita Vihar,Karawal Nagar,Majnu-Ka-Tila,Model Town,Mandawali,etc.

Besides these areas,complaints of EVMS snags were reported from Defence Colony,Okhla,Sangam Vihar,Civil Lines,etc.

“I was lucky to be voting at another booth,as the EVMs in booth number 79 were not working,’’ said Sudarshan Aggarwal (81),a voter from Defence Colony.

In Sangam Vihar’s Hamdard’s Education Society,people said the a machine had to be replaced,leading to delays early in the morning.
