Driver’s death: Relatives protest outside Nanda’s house

About a hundred people gathered outside the residence of industrial Anil Nanda at New Friends Colony protesting the death of Nanda’s driver on June 9.

Relatives of the victim,Janeshwar Sharma,and members of an association in the city protested outside Nanda’s residence. “About a hundred people of the association led by one S P Singh came around noon and protested against Nanda and the police authorities for inaction,” a local said. S P Singh,the president of the association said,“The cops are not taking proper action in the case and Nanda should be apprehended now.

Yogesh Sharma,the victim’s brother,said,“We want justice and the cops are not fulfilling their responsibilities properly.” Delhi Police officials said,“Anil Nanda was present in the house when Sharma was set on fire. We have already questioned him along with 20 others. We are corroborating Sharma’s statements and investigating the case further.”
