After Iqbal,he was called Serious Talpade,so he signed a few comedies. “And now,my comic films are releasing one after another while the others are getting postponed,” says actor Shreyas Talpade,33,whose latest release Aagey Se Right, which also stars Mahie Gill sees him in the role of a goofy cop who misplaces his service revolver. The journey to recover the lost weapon passes through several interesting incidents, ending with the cop “accidentally” fighting crime. Talpade clearly enjoyed the role because he turned up dressed in a policeman’s uniform for the film promotion at the Howzatt bar in Galaxy Hotel,Gurgaon. “I found the concept of a person who becomes a cop by accident and fights criminals with humour quite interesting,” he adds.

Talpade has a mixed bag to look forward to. He plays the lead in Sangeeth Sivan’s Click, has bagged the role as a pimp in the John Abraham-starrer Hook Ya Crook and has a guest appearance in Aashayein.
