Man fights robbers,stabbed to death

New Delhi: A 27-year-old man was stabbed to death and his brother critically injured when they resisted a robbery attempt in Seelampur,Northeast Delhi,on Tuesday night. Irfan and his brother were attacked by four bike-borne men,police said.

Games Village: DDA says can’t decide FAR

New Delhi: The DDA told the Delhi High Court on Wednesday that it lacked authority to regularise the excess construction at the Commonwealth Games Village. It said only the Ministry of Urban Development had the authority to decide whether the excess FAR could be regularised.

Property dealer shot dead in Mongolpuri

New Delhi: A 42-year-old property dealer was shot dead by an unidentified man on Wednesday in Mongolpuri,Outer Delhi. Police identified him as Nagender Yadav.
