Man held for sodomising minor

New Delhi: Police arrested a 32-year-old man on Thursday for allegedly sodomising a minor boy in his car. Police have seized the vehicle. According to police,the incident happened near Birla Mandir on Tuesday when the victim was returning home after purchasing groceries. The accused has been identified as Nagender Shah. “When he reached near Gole Dak Khana,a man stopped his car near him and asked the boy the directions to Gole Market. The victim told him the route and the accused offered him a lift,” said K C Dwivedi,Additional CP (New Delhi). Shah then took the boy to an isolated lane and sodomised him,he said. Shah was arrested as the victim had noted the car’s registration number.

Maid held for stealing jewellery

New Delhi: A domestic help was arrested for allegedly stealing gold and diamond jewellery from her employer’s Saket house. Police has recovered the stolen jewellery. According to police,Maya Mazumdar (35) was arrested from Saidulajab on Wednesday.
