Farmers call for bandh in Noida today

Noida: The Kisan Bachao Sangharsh Samiti has called for a Noida bandh on Friday,protesting against the Noida Authority’s policies on the regularisation of abadi land and the charging of taxes on commercial establishments. Members of the organisation said that they will also gherao the Noida Authority office in Sector 6. Jaivir Kasana,a farmer leader,said,“We have the support of the traders’ association,transport association and several other groups.” This comes after,another group,the Kisan Sangharsh Samiti called off their agitation planned for September 21.
