Former champion Shimla Youngs were held to a goalless draw by Ahbab FC in a dull match of DSA Annual Senior Division Football League Championship at Siri Fort sports complex here on Wednesday. Last season semi-finalist Ahbab have nine points from six matches,while Shimla Young have only three points from six matches. Both teams failed to make any productive move throughout the game. In the closing session,Ahbab had a easy goal scoring chance,but forward David muffed. Ahbab’s David will miss the next match following two yellow cards. T Sigh also received a yellow card,while Shimla Young’s Jude was also booked. On Thursday Tarun Sangha will take on Shahdra.

Ravi Sangar shines in DDCA league
Ravi Sangar scored 30 runs and scalped two wickets for 24 to help Ashoka Cricket Club beat Citizen Club by seven wickets and secure full four points in the DDCA League on Wednesday. For Ashoka,other notable performances came from Deepak Lingwal (3/12) and Rajat (3/14).

Brief scores: Citizen Club 70 all out in 19 overs vs Ashoka Cricket Club 72 for three in 9.4 overs

Young Friend Club win
Prateek Chawla and Prashant made 56 runs each while Jitendra Arya shone with the ball,taking 3 wickets for 9 as Young Friend Club defeated Hind Cricket Club by 57 runs in another DDCA League match on Wednesday. Batting first,Young Friend Club accumulated 153 for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs while Hind Cricket Club got all out in just 96 runs in 14.1 overs

Full points for Kranti Star
Bhawani Pathania came good with 44 runs while Shoaib Prasad scored 47 runs as Kranti Star overhauled Super Star’s 159 with five wickets to spare in a DDCA League match. For Kranti,Abhishek Verma scored 29 while Sunil Kumar took 4 wickets for 29 runs and Gulzar Kaushal scalped 4 for 33. For Super Star,who were all out in 30 overs,Rishab Vashist top-scored with 42 runs.

Shilpa stars in Delhi win
Shilpa Gupta scalped three for 43 while Neha Tanwar made 43 as Delhi defeated Uttar pardesh by 8 wicket to get 6 point in the women’s inter-state cricket tournament.

Kartik Choudhary scored 41 runs and took three wickets,while Anish Alvi (47) missed a half century as Green Field academy beat Achiever academy by 21 runs to win the Achiever under-16 title at the Ramjas Sports Compex. Kartik was later adjudged Man of the Match for his all-round performance.
