AAI win tourney
Airports Authority of India won both the men’s and women’s team events in the Inter Institutional Badminton Tournament organized by Ordinance Factory Sports Control Board under the aegis of the Badminton Association of India in Kolkata. In the best of three women’s event AAI beat BSNL 2-0 with Junior National Girl’s Champion Sikki Reddy winning the first singles and Abantika Deka and S Sampada winning the doubles.

In the best of five men’s event which went the full distance,AAI prevailed over FCI 3-2,with Junior National Boy’s Champion Sai Praneeth and Sumeet Reddy winning their singles and teaming up to win the deciding doubles.

Man of the match Pradeep Malik (56 n.o.) and Shivam Sharma (57 n.o.) helped Vidya Jain School,Rohini beat Ganga International School,Hiran Kudna by 8 wickets to enter the final of the 9th Ganga U-17 Inter School cricket tournament at the Ganga School.
