The Delhi Soccer Association will hold a two day Arsenal Tata Tea Jaago Re Soccer Stars -round 4 inter-school football tournament from today at the Ambedkar Stadium.

The Delhi Soccer Association (DSA) will hold a two day Arsenal Tata Tea Jaago Re Soccer Stars -round 4 inter-school football tournament from today at the Ambedkar Stadium. The tournament will feature seventy school teams amongst which talent will be scouted to select a team that will travel to Arsenal. Meanwhile,DSA is also scheduled to hold an open trial-cum-coaching camp today to select Delhi State Sub-Junior Football team for the 33rd Sub-Junior National Football Championship for Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy — North Zone qualifying rounds to be held at Manira Stadium,Uttar Ashi,Uttrakhand from January 20 to 29. Interested players may report to DSA Joint Secretary- Magan Singh Patwal at Dr.Ambedkar Stadium alongwith their original date of birth certificate.

Mayank,Madan steal show
All-round performances by Himachal U-16 player Mayank Dagar (57 and 2/18) and Madan Gopal (49 and 4/43) powered Citizen Sports to beat Universal Club by 34 runs in the DDCA League at RSC ground.

Amit Dedha’s half century (87) and Harish Kasana’s bowling spell (3/22) helped Jat Heroes beat York Club by 39 runs in the DDCA League.

A superb bowling spell that saw Rajinder Madan scalp four wickets conceding only 12 runs and a half century by Chander Thapa (72) propelled Mohun Meakins to beat Gemini Club by 80 runs in the DDCA League.

Sikinder stars for ris
A disciplined bowling spell by Man of the Match Sikinder (4/16) along with batting contributions by Sidhartha (35) and Karan (25 n.o) helped Ryan International School,Rohini beat Yuva Shakti Academy by 8 wickets to enter the final of the 1st Titiksha U-12 cricket tournament at Titiksha Public School,Rohini.

Sunny misses ton,wins match
A match winning half century by Sunny Sehrawat (79) and a three wicket haul by Aditya Tomar (3/11) enabled Vidya Jain Academy,Rohini beat Ravindra Academy by 2 wickets to qualify for the final of the 1st Ryan U-13 cricket tournament at Ryan School,Rohini.

Sunil,sharwan among wickets
Three wickets apiece by Sunil Maurya (3/17) and Sharwan (3/31) saw Young Delhi dominate Gush Club. The bowling spells saw Gush Club fall short by 20 runs to lose the match in the 3rd Radhey Kishan U-19 cricket tournament at Najafgarh ground.

A superb all-round performance by Sagar Sudan (91 and 2/24) enabled Sardar Patel School beat Mount St. Mary School by 67 runs to enter the final of the 9th Frank Anthony Memorial inter-school cricket tournament at Frank Anthony School ground.
