NEW DELHI: A 38-year-old man was killed after a speeding Grameen Seva vehicle rammed his scooter in East Delhi’s Geeta Colony. The man,identified as Rajiv Kakkar,was killed on the spot,while his son survived. Police said Kakkar was on his way to the grocery store with his 12-year-old son,when the vehicle hit the scooter from behind. The driver of the Grameen Seva vehicle fled the spot.

Gurgaon renews ban on hookah bars

GURGAON: The Gurgaon administration has renewed its ban on hookah bars. District Magistrate P C Meena on Tuesday invoked Section 144 of CrPC for this purpose. He said hookah bars serve tobacco molasses,containing nicotine which is injurious to health. Meena said that keeping health hazards in mind,the operation of hookah bars has been prohibited. ens
