Woman alleges sexual harassment by in-law

New Delhi: A 26-year-old lecturer at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan in Paschim Vihar has alleged that her father-in-law had attempted to rape her on Sunday night at their residence in Kanjhawala,Outer Delhi. According to the police,the accused father-in-law,Ranbir Kumar (58),is a principal of an MCD school in the area. The woman’s husband was not at home at the time of the incident.

Man stabbed in Mangolpuri

New Delhi: A 19-year-old man,Rohit Kumar,was stabbed by a group of boys on Sunday in Mangolpuri area,Outer Delhi. The incident happened around 8 pm when Rohit was talking to his friends outside his home. The accused approached Rohit and his friends and started to beat him up and later stabbed him. Rohit’s friend Bobby,who tried to save him,was also stabbed. The injured were taken to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital where Rohit was declared brought dead. However,Bobby is out of danger and is said to be recovering. A case has been registered.
