Police arrested an auto-lifter from Rohini,Outer Delhi,on Friday afternoon. Three stolen cars were also recovered.

Auto-lifter arrested

New Delhi: Police arrested an auto-lifter from Rohini,Outer Delhi,on Friday afternoon. Three stolen cars were also recovered. The accused was arrested near Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital in Rohini around 2 pm when he had come to sell a stolen car. He used to approach a taxi stand for a job as a driver and would produce a fake driving licence and identity proofs. He would then steal the car with the original documents and keys, said B S Jaiswal,DCP (Outer).

2 drug peddlers held

New Delhi: Two Nepal nationals were arrested on Saturday for selling charas. Police claimed to have recovered 2 kg of charas,two weighing machines and packing materials from them. The accused Bishal Magar and Deepak were arrested from 100-Foot road in Chhattarpur Enclave,South Delhi. They used to buy drugs from Magars relative,Bikash. The duo used to fix up a secluded place with their clients for delivering the drugs, said Chhaya Sharma,DCP (South).
