Monkey sitting on shoulder,man rams bus in house
A motorist on Wednesday rammed a minibus into a house in West Delhi while trying to control his pet monkey that was sitting on his shoulder. The incident was reported from Vikaspuri and the driver has been identified as Kumar Prabhakaran (22). He was driving the minibus when the monkey suddenly jumped out of the vehicle,which had two passengers on board. In a bid to catch the animal,he lost control of the vehicle. No one was injured in the incident.

Ahead of Games,MCD asked to perform
Taking a dig at BJP-ruled MCD,the Delhi government on Wednesday asked the civic agency to improve its functioning so that the city does not have to face “embarrassment” during the upcoming Commonwealth Games. Replying to a discussion on functioning of the civic body,Finance Minister A K Walia said the performance of the MCD has been “very poor” in the last few years.
