Engineer dies in accident
A 24 year-old computer engineer,working with IBM,was killed in an accident on Sunday morning. The police said,Aashish Vashist,was riding his bike and was on Andrews Gunj flyover when an unidentified vehicle hit him. Hauz Khas police station has registered a case. The police ruled out the possibility that low-visibility may be the reason for the accident.

Businessman shot at
A brick factory owner was allegedly shot at by unidentified assailants in Northeast Delhi on Monday evening. The police said,Indra Mohan Chopra,owns Chopra Chimneys on Delhi-Haryana road. According to the police,Chopra was walking towards his Hyundai I-10 car outside his factory in Gad Kundal in Kanjhawla,when two assailants in an Alto car fired at him and fled.

Two shot at
Two attempt to murder incidents were reported from the Capital on Sunday night. In the first,a cable operator,identified as Mahesh Kumar,was shot at by unidentified persons in Chhawla,Southwest Delhi. The police,who received a call about the incident at 11.15 pm,suspect personal enmity. A BA second year student,identified as Ravi,was shot at by unidentified assailants in Sultanpuri,Outer Delhi,in the other incident. The incident took place near Outer Ring Road and the youth is undergoing treatment.
