Two men barged into the house of a 60-year-old woman and bludgeoned her to death with a hammer. The incident was reported late Thursday from Khirki Extension in Malviya Nagar,police said.

The woman,Madhu Dabra,was at home with her daughter-in-law Rachna. According to police,two men rang the door bell and overpowered Madhu as soon as she opened the door. Rachna,who also sustained minor injuries on her face,told police that they dragged her into the bathroom and locked her inside. The house was ransacked. A hammer was recovered from the spot. A case has been registered, a police officer said.
