Four men were arrested on Wednesday evening for getting into an altercation and misbehaving with two police constables, who pulled them up for rash and negligent driving.
Police said the four were driving on Maulana Azad Road when the incident occurred. They tried to overtake a DTC bus and narrowly missed hitting it. The two vehicles came to a stop. The constables, Sunil and Vivek, were in the bus and got down to deal with the situation. They were in plainclothes.
“The four got into an altercation and misbehaved with the constables. Based on the bus driver’s statement , a case was filed against the four,” ACP (New Delhi) S B S Tyagi said.
