City-based National Award-winning costume designer Dolly Ahluwalia-Tewari also bagged the National Award for Best Supporting Actor (Female) for Vicky Donor. For me,Vicky Donor is a complete Indian film. It was entertainment,subject value,excellent performances and showed a simple way of life, says Ahluwalia-Tewari. According to her,the film is a very relevant modern-day subject treated so beautifully. It was a milestone in Bollywood cinema, she adds. National Awards is the biggest honour a film or an artiste can get in our country. Its extremely overwhelming, adds city boy Ayushmann Khurrana,who played the lead role in the film,which also bagged a National Award in the Best Wholesome Entertainer category. JK
