Team-up
As Aisha gears up for its Friday release, the promos of Anjaana Anjaani will also be making their first appearance. The Siddharth Anand direction, starring Ranbir Kapoor,Priyanka Chopra and Zayed Khan,is rumoured to be a rip-off of the Hollywood movie,The Girl on the Bridge. While the movie sets have nothing original to offer, they are breeding some genuine fun. The cast and crew of the movie is split in two teams, lead by Priyanka and Ranbir, who keep playing pranks on each other. Their teams appear equally dedicated to generating friendly banter and leave no stones unturned to enliven the sets.
Served hot
The Lafangey Parindey cast is not as rowdy as the movie name suggests. In fact the lead pair,Deepika Padukone and Neil Nitin Mukesh have been spreading some congenial air on the sets. It all started when Deepika refused to take another sip of the horrible tea offered on the sets of the movie. So she took it upon herself to make tea,not just for herself, but for everyone. And,Neil reciprocated her gesture by serving freshly brewed coffee and made sure that it was presented right. The give and take of hot sips has lead to a mutual admiration club. While Deepika finds Neils coffee awesome,Neil is completely gaga over her tea.
Darling D
Completing 50 glorious years in Indian cinema,Dharmendra is now appearing as a Banarasi conman in Yamla Pagla Deewana, which also stars his sons Sunny and Bobby Deol. Bobbys character is on the lines of his good-hearted father. The story takes a turn with both luring Sunny,a Canadian NRI,and leads to an offbeat climax filled with humour, confusion as well as action. Says Dharmendra,I play my age in the film with real-life touches. After a long time both my emotional and comic strengths will be seen.
