In a bid to learn golf,a total of ten children today gathered at the Chandigarh Golf Club greens and attended the first session of the two-month long EGTF Junior Golf Coaching Camp under the supervision of Joint Director,Chandigarh Golf Club Academy Ajay Gujral. Surprisingly,the camp also had a non-Indian in 8-year-old Oliver Brian who hails from England. Two of the youngest children in the camp are 6-year-old Japjyot Suri and 7-year -ld Jasnee Suri. This golf camp is designed to facilitate the natural learning process in a fun and safe golf environment for children and is being conducted strictly on International guidelines of the European Golf Teachers’ Federation,UK. The children,all total beginners started to learn the grip and posture on the first day and hit 50 balls each. Over the period of two months all aspects of the game will be covered in detail.
