“This book is to boost the morale of young generation,” says writer Inder Singh Baljot as he launches his first book ‘Goar Rajputan Baazigaran Da Itihaas’. Edited by Karam Singh Wakeel,General Secretary of Kavita Kendra, Dr Charanjit Kaur,a Punjabi scholar,says “ its difficult to compile and preserve the folk literature but both the writer and editor have been able to do full justice.”

Originally from Kot Badal Khan,near Noor Mahal,Baljot earlier worked as a bank manager with State Bank of India. “I wanted to contribute to Sikh literature and the society and so wrote the book. This book contains a detailed study of different castes and defines Indian customs,marriages and death ceremonies,” Baljot tells us the book is a compilation of short articles. Now available on stands,Baljot tells us he’s already started working on the second book. Poets Joginder Singh Jogi,Ajit Singh Sandhu and Kewal Kishan Puri among others attended the function.
