For a while now,speculation has been rife that father-son duo Rishi and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen together in either Sudhir Mishra’s Mehrunisa or Ayan Mukherji’s sequel to Wake Up Sid. But a soft drink brand has beaten both filmmakers by casting the Kapoors together in an advertisement. Ranbir has already shot for the commercial along with his father and the television commercial will go on air from September 15. The commercial capitalises on the actors’ real-life relationship. The cola brand started the campaign with a teaser on Sunday. Directed by Mukherji,the teaser revolves around a father dismissing his son’s chances of becoming a ‘crorepati’ while the son has a plan in place. It ends with the theme music for Kaun Banega Crorepati and whether the son becomes a ‘crorepati’ by taking part in the show or by enjoying the soft drink,remains to be seen.
