Taj Chandigarh is all set to make this Independence Day a memorable one with a host of specials at its various restaurants. Dera will open its door to guests for both lunch and dinner. According to the hotel’s sales manager Sandeep Makroo,Dera will offer a melange of fine cuisines from east and west Punjab. “The chef has designed a special Table Lunch Menu for all guests including starters,soup,main course and desserts priced at Rs 1,000 plus taxes.” Further,for senior citizens,a lunch at Dera on August 15 comes with a 50 percent discount. The discount will also be valid at Cafe 17. Finally,Black Lotus,the Oriental fine dining restaurant will see an elaborate lunch and dinner menu specially put together by master chef Yuan Shee. “Our guests will be welcomed with a complimentary in-house welcome drink Kali followed by an elaborate Independence Day Heavens 11 experience priced at 900,inclusive of taxes,” added Makroo.
