Fashion designer couple Meera and Muzaffar Ali’s store,Kotwara,had a bland launch in Delhi’s Emporio on Thursday. While the timing was perfect,(the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week begins next week) most of the A-listers gave the event a miss. Spotted munching the hors d’oeuvres were son Murad Ali along with Rekha Purie,TV host Koel Purie’s mother and friends Brownyn Latif,Salim Latif and Swapna and Shailesh Khaitab and Dilshad Sheikh. Meera,clad in black sari,played the perfect host while husband Muzaffar showed the latest fall collection (togas,kurtas and shirts) to a guest. “We had been working on the store for the past five months,which is evident from it woodwork,” said Meera,as she pointed to the latticed panels.
