The syndicate meeting at Panjab University (PU) has been postponed for the second time in a row,but this time,on account of lack of quorum,as only two out of the total 15 members turned up for the meeting on Saturday.
In a statement issued to the media,a PU spokesperson said that vice-chancellor Arun Kumar Grover had decided not to proceed with the meeting due to thin attendance.
On September 21,the members of the syndicate had staged a walkout in protest against the absence of the action-taken report in the sexual harassment case of GTB College,Dasuya, where five lady teachers of the college had registered a complaint against a superintendent in the college.
