The Panjab University (PU) has declared the results of its combined entrance test (CET) (under graduate) on Saturday. The test was conducted on May 26. Over 11,000 students took the test against 1,000 seats in various streams.
In the Physics-Chemistry-Biology stream,Khushpreet Kaur has topped the entrance tests with 258 marks.
Rajat Bajaj topped the Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics stream with 305 marks.
In the Physics-Chemistry-Computer Science stream,Kanu Priya stood first with 265 marks. Anika secured the top position with 178.5 marks in Physics-Chemistry-Biotechnology stream. In Mathematics,Diksha bagged the first rank.
The Controller of Examination,Panjab University,Dr Parvinder Singh said,About 11,000 candidates from the city,Punjab,Haryana,Himachal Pradesh,Jammu and Kashmir,Delhi,and Rajasthan had appeared in this prestigious examination for about 1,000 seats in different courses like B Pharmacy,Honours Schools in Microbiology,Bio-Physics,Bio Chemistry,Bio Technology,Chemistry,Mathematics,Physics,Botany,Zoology,Geology,Anthropology and other.
The varsity has uploaded all the results of the entrance exams on the university website,www.puchd.ac.in.
