Prateek reaches semifinal

Prateek Singla reached the semifinal beating Prince and Bharat Sharma in the sub-junior snooker category in the ongoing Haryana State Billiards and Snooker Championship being held at Haryana Billiards SCO 37 Sector 11 Panchkula.

Prateek Singla reached the semifinal beating Prince and Bharat Sharma in the sub-junior snooker category in the ongoing Haryana State Billiards and Snooker Championship being held at Haryana Billiards SCO 37 Sector 11 Panchkula.

In the first match,Prateek was lucky enough to get the first frame on the black ball,in the second frame Prince staged a comeback and snatched the frame from Prateek . In the final frame Prateek hit a break of 21 points and did not give any chance to Prince. Eventually,Prateek won the match 2-1. In the another match Sahil from Panipat could not show his natural game and lost to Sarvesh 2-0. Meanwhile,Shubham drubbed Arjun 2-1 while Sarvesh pipped Sahil by 2-0. In the senior snooker event,Gurpreet Singh outaplyed Deepak Singla in a nail bitting finish by 3-2. Gurpreet won the first two frames very convincingly but Deepak came back well and equaled the score by winning the nest two frames. In the deciding frame,Gurpreet potted well to clinch the frame and the match.In another match,Amritpal Singh overpowered Prabhat Saini by 3-1.
