Perturbed over father’s drinking habit,youth kills self

The incident took place when Hardeep,who worked as a labourer,asked his father,Nathe Singh,to give up his drinking habit or he would commit suicide. In a fit of rage,the deceased took out a knife and stabbed himelf. Hardeep was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.

“A post-mortem was conducted which has ruled out foul play. We have begun investigations under Section 174 of the criminal procedure code,” said Ajay Kumar,Pulsora police post incharge.

Truck hits bicycle,boy dies
AMBALA:A 11-year-old resident of Cross Road number 12 died on the spot when a truck hit his bicycle on Saturday. Gaurav was returning home after visiting his maternal uncle when the incident took place. He was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.

Angry residents,however,gathered at the spot and pelted stones on the truck,which the driver left behind before fleeing the spot.
