Panchkula police on alert today

Panchkula police is on high alert after the Haryana Roadways has called for a traffic blockade on Wednesday.

The police have ordered all SHOs to keep a videographer with them so that they can identify the people in case rioting takes place.

All SHOs and PCRs have been instructed to keep vigil in their areas.

DSP Ram Chander Rathi along with Inspector Om Prakash,SHO of Sector 5 police station,and Inspector (Traffic) Pawan Kumar will keep a guard at the Sector 5 bus stand. One reserve batallion along with eight policewomen,equipped with anti-riot gear,will remain at their disposal.

Three cranes,one ambulance,a team of doctors and nurses,medicines and fire tender have also been arranged by the police.
