At 62,Raman Kapoor is hardly your young,swashbuckling pop singer,but the businessman has already charted a successful alternative career in music. His album Lovely Kudi was released by Moser Baer at the Chandigarh Press Club here today. “This is an exciting moment for me. Music has always had a big impact on my life,” says Kapoor,who debuted with the album Kyun Tune Dil Ko Toda in 2008. The latest album is a mix of 11 tracks,including hip hop,qawali,romantic,ghazal and dance numbers. The music for the album has been composed by music directors Nikhil Kamat and Satish Sharma. Moser Baer Entertainment has also released a DVD of six songs along with the CD as a complete album package. It’s been especially designed for karaoke enthusiasts. The video of the title track Lovely Kudi features Mumaith Khan,known for her item number in Munnabhai MBBS. It has been directed by Shareen Mantri. Another hip-hop number,Moolah,stars Meghna Naidu along with Kushal Punjabi and has been directed by the duo Amarjit-Sawant.
