She’s been cooking and baking for decades,so it was no surprise when Chandigarh’s popular amateur chef,Kandla Nijhowne, made it to the finals of MasterChef India last year. Today at 2.30 pm,Nijhowne gets together with fellow contestant and winner,Pankaj Bhadouria, who currently has her own show,Chef Pankaj ka Zayka,on Star Plus. The cookery show often features guest cooks, and this time, the top four Masterchef India contestants return to the kitchen and cook with Bhadouria.“It was a delight to be in this episode for there were no judges,no competition and no time limits. It was just a simple getting together of two friends, and putting together our skills to create good food,” says Nijhowne. She promises that the show will have easy recipes that will get every cook excited.
