Do you believe in reincarnation? Do you have moments of deja vu? Is seeing what we believe or believing what we see? Unravel the secrets of life as we know, and don’t know,in an all-new reality show

The levels are getting tougher. It’s higher, trickier, much more invasive and loaded with shock-value. Ever since Star Plus took on Sach the Saamna, reality has entered into a whole new dimension, and with NDTV Imagine’s new show,it’s transitioned onto a whole new level – that of the conscious and sub conscious. ‘Raaz… Pichhle Janam Ka’ which goes on air this winter holds the key to secrets of life, and using the technique of Past Life Regression,it’s set on a path to find answers to questions that haunt us in our current lives.

“Audience today is seeking new ways to be entertained and informed. The content of this show is backed by extensive research,a proven scientific technique and a high gloss setting,” Shailja Kejriwal – EVP Content,NDTV Imagine introduces us to the host of the show – Ravi Kishaan, looking mint fresh in an all-new designer look. “I have to look smart and razor sharp,” says the King of Bhojpuri cinema who has made quite a re-entry into mainstream Hindi commercial cinema and prime time television. After hosting dance shows, help Rakhi Sawant find a suitable boy (he strongly feels she should marry Elesh) and star guest appearances,Ravi will be seen interacting with participants along with clinical psychologist and practitioner Dr Trupti Jayin on Raaz.

“I believe in reincarnation and karma. At some level,we are all connected, and this show will answer ‘who am I’,” Ravi, who will be seen in Ravan,is looking forward to delving into the lives of people and celebrities. But didn’t he get a taste of it in Bigg Boss? “Ah,it’s a troubled house,” he comments, not very happy with KRK’s attitude and bad joke on Raju Srivastava. “Families watch it,and you just can’t let nonsense take place. The level of the game has gone down,” says the actor.

In the meantime,Renuka Shahane has already had a past life session. Sanjay Dutt and Sushmita Sen are reported to go next. And Dr Trupti is helping them. “There is always an explanation for mysterious coincidences, unexplained fears and real moments of déjà-vu,and these may be related to your past life,” says the doc who has been using Past Life Regression technique to help address fears, phobias and even physical ailments by finding their roots in our previous lives. “My quest and endeavour has always been to find permanent solutions and psychometric work or medication are temporary reliefs. Even Freudian analysis takes time and money which makes the patient lose patience. With Past Life Regression, there is a permanent solution,” Dr Trupti has been practising this technique for eight years and has trained under Hyderabad’s Dr K Newton. “We are more than a physical body,we are a spirit too. While hypnosis only takes you to a particular place,Past Life unlocks memories deep seeded in our conscious – these can be from a past or current life and addresses them,” she tells us of cases where people complained of unexplained aches, recurring dreams and all connected to happenings in previous lifetimes. “We are all recycled souls with so many memories and thoughts which cannot be destroyed, and it’s not clear whether we’re living our past life or are in the present for time is neither linear nor logical. There was a time when seeing was believing. Today, believing is seeing.” So why don’t you dial for a karmic connection and those who want to know more, log onto Dr Trupti’s website,www.setu.org.in.
