‘Akal Takht must take action against cops for extra-judicial killings’
The Khalsa Mission Organisation (KMO) on Friday appealed the Akal Takht to take into consideration the disappearance of 25,000 Sikh youths,who were allegedly killed by the police and cremated as unclaimed. In a statement issued here on Friday,KMO chief H S Sarhali and patron Bibi Paramjit Kaur Kalra said Akal takht should take action against police officers,including former DGP K P S Gill,for extra-judicial killings.

Handball camp at GNDU
Nearly 30 women players from all over the country are participating in the ongoing 40-day handball coaching camp at Guru Nanak Dev University here for the Asian Games which are to be held in China soon.
