Riding high on their fine form,hosts Moti Ram Arya Senior Secondary School (A) team emerged as the winners in the boys’ final with an easy 29-18,29-5 win over St Joseph Convent High School on the concluding day of the 13th Chandigarh Junior Ball Badminton Championship held at Moti Ram Arya Senior Secondary School,Sector 27 in Chandigarh. Moti Ram Arya Senior Secondary School (A) team claimed the first game with a margin of 29-18 before they steamrolled St Joseph Convent High School with a 29-5 margin in the final game to emerge as the winners in the final.

In the match for third place,Government Model High School,Sector 37 ended the challenge of Chandigarh Baptist School to claim the third place. In the girls’ category,St Joseph Convent School ended the challenge of Government Model High School,Sector 37 with an easy 29-3,29-5 win. Displaying a blend of aggressiveness with some smart play,St Joseph Convent High School claimed the first game easily with a margin of 29-3 before they won the second and final game with a margin of 29-5. In the match for third place in the girls’ category,Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 33 ended the challenge of Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 20 (A) team with a 29-11,29-9 win. Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 33 claimed the first game with a margin of 29-11 before they won the second and final game with a margin of 29-9 to claim the third place in the champion ship.
