GMSSS-10 grab twin titles

Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 10 bagged twin title in the U-14 and U-17 boys category in the final of the UT Inter-School Softball Championship on Monday.

In the boys’ U-14 category,GMSSS-10 ended the challenge of Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 33 in the final. Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 8 finished at the third place. In the U-17 event in the same category,Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 10 again claimed the title with a win over Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 35. Th third spot was bagged by St Anne’s School. In the U-19 event in the same category,SGGSCPS,Sector 26 pocketed the top spot while DAV Senior Secondary School,Sector 8 won the second spot. GMSSS-25 grabbed the third spot. In the girls’ category,GMSSS-15 ended the challenge of GMSSS-10 in the U-14 final. The third spot was claimed by Government High School,Sector 11. In the U-17 event in the same category,GMSSS-10 emerged as the winners with a win over Government High School,Sector 11. GMSSS-15 claimed the third spot. In the U-19 category,GMSSS-8 claimed the top spot while GMSSS-10 grabbed the second spot. GMSSS-35 finished at the third spot.

Dodgeball championship from August 30

Chandigarh: The Dodgeball Association of Chandigarh will organise the Chandigarh State Dodegeball Championship from August 30 at Dev Samaj Senior Secondary School,Sector 21. The championship will be played in the U-14 and U-17 categories for boys and girls. Players born on or after January 1,1996 are eligible to take part in the U-17 category while players born on or after January 1,1999 are eligible to take part in the U-14 category. The players are required to submit entry forms to Sumati Kanwar,Principal,Dev Samaj Senior Secondary School,Sector 21 on or before August 28.
