Dhumal seeks Central help for Parala Yard

Taking a step forward to provide quality marketing infrastructure to farmers,Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal has written a letter to Union Agriculture,Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sharad Pawar seeking help of the Centre for the proposed Parala Agriculture Marketing Yard.

In a formal letter written by the CM,the state urged the Union minister to extend the Terminal Market Complex Scheme (TMCS) for covering the cost of the upcoming marketing yard at Theog in Shimla district.

It is mentioned that earlier this week the CM had met the Union minister and sought his help for the upcoming marketing yard. He said the state government was developing the yard at Parala into a major self contained modern marketing yard,spread over 20 acres.
