Panchkula:Showing off their mettle,DAV School,Sector 8,Panchkula,cornered glory in the recently conducted Haryana Schools Zonal and District level sports tournaments,by clinching many medals in various sports events. The school basketball team bagged second position in U-19 basketball event at the zonal level. At the district level,U-19 girls grabbed top position in U-19 badminton and yoga,while in table tennis the girls finished second.

Chandigarh:The Chandigarh Badminton Association will be holding Chandigarh State Badminton Championships in different age groups like Under-10 (Singles),Under-13,Under-15,Under-17,Under-19 and Senior boys and girls from August 16. Entries can be given to Satish Bhatia and Kabir in Sector 42,Pomila at Sector 23 and also to Surinder Mahajan at Panjab University Badminton Hall.
